DAILY SCHEDULE FOR MAKING IN MICHIGAN KNITTING RETREAT
THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 24
- Welcome to the party! Please check in, grab your neck wallet lanyard from the registration desk (Day Students too). We’re so glad you’re here! We’ve organized coffee/tea/water starting at 1:00pm.
- Check in time is 3:00pm in McCrary Hall, where you can also set up and knit! Bring your knitting and meet some new friends!
- 4:00pm: please mosey over to the Manor House for our cash bar. You will be able to purchase an adult beverage, chat with old friends, and meet new ones!
- 5:00pm: Please find your way to the Dining Hall, just outside the patio for our Welcome Dinner. Opening Remarks by Wild Onion.
- 6:00pm: Dinner will be served, followed by Laura Dobratz’s lecture.
FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 25
- 7:45am – 8:45am: Breakfast in the Dining Hall followed by Lyrical Knits’ short introduction to the exclusive retreat pattern! Day students, please arrive by 8:15am so that you can take advantage of the pre-shopping knowledge Mary’s going to give us!
- Coffee/tea/water station all day in McCrary Hall / Auditorium.
- 9:00am – 11:30pm: Yarn Market in the Manor House.
- 11:45pm – 1:30pm: Lunch in the Dining Hall.
- 2:00pm –5:00pm: Class Time
- 5:00pm – 6:00pm: Manor House patio for our cash bar
- 6:00pm – 7:00pm: Dinner in the Dining Hall
- 7:30pm– 9:00pm: Learn to needle felt project with Wild Onion in the Auditorium!
SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 26
- 7:45am – 8:45am: Breakfast in the Dining Hall
- Coffee/tea/water station all day in McCrary Hall / Auditorium.
- 9:00am – 12:00pm: Class time (Tellybean Knits’ Self Striping Yarn class will have a 20 minute break for stripe shopping!)
- 12:15pm – 1:15pm: Lunch
- 2:00pm – 4:30pm: Yarn Market in the Manor House.
- 5:00pm – 6:00pm: Manor House for our cash bar.
- 6:00pm – 7:30pm: Dinner in the Dining Hall.
- 7:30pm – 9:00pm: Hangout and Knit with the Instructors in the Auditorium. Bring your needle felt project to work on!
SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 27
- 8:00am – 9:00am: Breakfast in the Dining Hall
- Coffee/tea/water station all day in McCrary Hall / Auditorium.
- 9:30am – 11:30am: Yarn market
- 12:00pm – 1:00pm: Lunch in the Dining Hall
- 2:00pm – 5:00pm: Class time
- 5:00pm – 6:00pm: Manor House for our cash bar
- 6:00pm – 7:30pm: Dinner and Good-Byes in the Dining Hall
- 7:30pm: Hangout and Knit in the Auditorium
MONDAY SEPTEMBER 28
