Meals
All on board meals (except ship specialty restaurants, which require an additional fee) are included in the cost of the retreat. Snacks, coffee, tea, water, lemonade, and iced tea are available all day, at no cost. Soft drinks, specialty juices and coffee drinks, and adult beverages are extra, and are not included in the price of the retreat. There are various drink packages available for purchase; read about them here, and add them yourself through the Princess app (once you have your booking confirmation number) or contact Janice to add to your cruise.
We will have a daily dinner reserved (time tba) in the Main Dining Room, with enough tables near each other to accommodate the group; you are welcome to eat with the group in the Main Dining Room, explore the buffet or other restaurants, or order room service (this would incur a service fee).
Our first night on board will be our meet n’ greet, so we’d like to have everyone attend this first dinner together in the MDR. After that, it’s your vacation, and you are free to dine at your pleasure!
Classes

Yarn Market and Swag
There aren’t any yarn shops in our port cities, so we’ll get you the class yarn requirements in plenty of time for you to order new yarn, or to stash pounce on your own yarn shelves.
We totally understand the importance of planning for your projects, so we’ll host a Zoom meeting about a month before the retreat, to answer your questions. Emails with material requirements, a special Cruise Handbook with tips on cruising, and more information that will make your travel planning easier, will be going out closer to the travel date.
Additionally, each reservation includes a fun Swag Bag, filled with special goodies selected by Wild Onion Productions!
Ample Knitting Time
Of course, we’ve made plenty of time for knitting!
In addition to the classes, we’ve allowed for ample creative time outside of formal class time, whether on deck soaking up the sun, or relaxing at one of the many indoor lounges, knitting together as a group. Wild Onion Production retreats always allow you to rev up your creative juices in class, then relax your buzzing brain with free time to enjoy your project, your surroundings, or your pillow.
If you want a break from knitting, there are lots of included activities on the ship for you to explore, including a fitness center, dance lessons, movies, theater, and much more.
Janice, our travel agent, will put together a list of several excursions which are in addition to the cruise excursions. We’ll email those to you later.
Transportation Details
Janice is our wonderful travel agent and she can be reached at 1(800)544-5140, or email her at Janice@captivatingescapes.com She can help book you into the hotel Wild Onion will stay at the night before embarkation. We highly recommend arriving in Los Angeles a day or two early, to give you wiggle room to accommodate any flight disruption. Please note that the price of the retreat does not include any hotel, food, or transportation costs pre or post cruise.
In addition to hotel stays, Janice can help you with any additional drink, gratuity, wifi, or fitness packages.
