Cancellation and Refund Policies
* COVID-19 policies can be found here.
It is our intention to make things as simple as possible for anyone who wants to go on a retreat with us. We understand that unexpected events happen which can prevent your attending the retreat you’ve signed up for, requiring the need to cancel your reservation. We strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance, with cancellation and curtailment provisions, including medical provisions with specific clauses for pre-existing conditions and Covid-19 issues. Our cruise and international events require that you purchase travel insurance. Please read and understand the cancellation policy before you book your reservation, to avoid any disappointment.
- Cancellation 120+ days from the start of the event will incur a non-refundable service fee, as noted in the Registration portion of the event.
- 50% of the cost of the retreat (not including the service fee) will be refunded for cancellation 119 – 80 days before the start of the event.
- 25% of the cost of the retreat (not including the service fee) will be refunded for cancellation 79 – 65 days before the start of the event.
- No refund for cancellations 64 days or less before the start of the event.
- No refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, travel delays, missed connections for a cruise, or for illness during the retreat.

- Alternatively, please contact your travel insurance provider to ask whether they will cover the single occupancy supplement charge.
- No refunds for any deposits paid to secure lodging or cabins.
- Refunds can only be issued to the card used for the original reservation.
- In case of the contracted instructor’s inability to attend the retreat due to illness or other catastrophe, Wild Onion Productions, Inc reserves the right to replace the instructor with a suitable knitting designer/teacher. You will be informed of this switch as soon as possible, and may cancel your reservation less 50% of the cost of the original payment.

If you cancel your participation in the retreat for any reason, the appropriate cancellation policy will apply.
If a Wild Onion Productions retreat is forced to cancel due to inclement weather, or any other occurrence beyond our control, including but not limited to fire, flood, natural disaster, or if the venue and/or location of the event is closed or provides notice to Wild Onion Productions of its inability to hold the event, or if a local government declared emergency status or regulation is in effect for the location of the event, or in the event that our force majeure clause is initiated, every attempt will be made to reschedule the event, and your reservation costs paid will be applied to the rescheduled event date at the rate you locked into when you registered.
In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a retreat due too few participants or unforeseen circumstances, we will refund to you all deposits and payments you have paid . We cannot however compensate you for your airfare or travel costs incurred. Please check with us prior to booking your flight to ensure that we have met the minimum number of registrations to hold the event. Should we have to cancel a retreat due to weather, natural disaster or political upheaval, we cannot guarantee a refund – it will be dependent on us receiving a refund from the venue. We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance in order to cover these risks.
We urge you to purchase travel insurance. Any refunds which would have been covered by a travel insurance policy will not be refunded, including travel transportation, hotels, food, etc. Any travel expenses, including but not limited to flights, rental cars, hotels, etc., either pre- or post trip, that may have been incurred are not the responsibility of Wild Onion Productions Inc and cannot be refunded under any circumstances. If the retreat is held, but weather conditions (whether forecasted or actualized) prohibit you from traveling, Wild Onion Productions Inc cannot refund your retreat cost.
Travel insurance is required for cruise and international travel with Wild Onion Productions, Inc. Note that pre-existing health conditions may affect the insurance policy. Please become familiar with your chosen insurance company’s policy regarding pre-existing conditions, cancellations, and any other refunds that may be required.
