ROTTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS
Once we disembark the ship in Rotterdam, you will want to travel to Amsterdam for your flight home. We have organized a private ride, in comfortable vans holding 6 people each.
Our vans will pick us up at the port around 9:30am on Disembarkation Day. From there, we will travel through the beautiful Netherland countryside, stopping for a private tour of the Clara Maria Cheese Farm and Clog Factory. This is a fantastic stop where you can actually see the traditional process of how wooden clogs are made, in addition to viewing cheese production. Entry fee is not included.
The tour will take approximately an hour, and we’ll reboard our vans for our final Amsterdam destination.
We will gather the Amsterdam hotel information from you to determine the van’s drop off location. Each van will drop off at one location, determined by the majority in the van. This may mean a short taxi ride for you at the end of the trip.
Once at your hotel, drop your luggage, freshen up if you have access to your room, and venture out into the city for lunch and some sight-seeing. We plan to eat a large breakfast on board the ship prior to leaving, then buy some cheese and snacks in the Cheese Farm’s souvenir shop to tide us over until lunch in Amsterdam!
Note that meals, snacks, and driver/guide gratuities are not included in the price of this transfer. There is a moderate entry fee for the Cheese and Clog tour, not included in the price of the transfer.
